We, a group of avid Kolkatans, professionals in different fields, got together with the idea of giving Kolkata's image a makeover, promoting its plus points to people beyond Bengal and India. With brand name of Happenings Kolkata, we envisaged our first event, Mahotsav in 2003. Our next initiative, Rabindra Utsav has been a regular event in Kolkata's annual cultural calendar since 2006.

Happenings Kolkata is a Not for Profit company registered under Sec. 25 of the Indian Companies Act.
